Colombaro Vineyard
The Colombaro Vineyard consists of two sections, which we have nicknamed “l'Asilo” and “Il Boschetto.”
L'Asilo, 0.8 hectares from the 1960s, featuring Lambrusco Salamino, Fortana, Lambrusco Oliva, Ancellotta, Lambrusco Fiorano, and Lambrusco Grasparossa, located in Bellucci.
Il Boschetto, 0.4 hectares, partially replanted in the 1940s but dating back to the early 1900s, was part of the vineyards once owned by Francesco Agazzotti, a prominent figure in the area during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, passionate about viticulture, winemaking, and vinegar production. This section features numerous grape varieties, some not considered local but present in these lands for almost a century, with some being unknown. Notable varieties include Lambrusco Grasparossa, Lambrusco Fiorano, Lambrusco Maestri, Trebbiano Modenese, Trebbiano di Spagna, Alionza, as well as Merlot, Barbera, Raboso del Piave, and Sangiovese.
